Marketing Executive
Pure Padel UK
Reports to: Head of Marketing
Works closely with: Head of Brand & Content, club managers, wider team
Location: 44 Hale Road, Westgate House, Altrincham, with regular travel to our clubs across the UK
Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 PA
Contract: Full-time, permanent
About us
Pure Padel UK is building the country's leading network of padel clubs. We have 10 clubs open across England and around 10 more planned for 2027. Every club needs a full marketing push behind it, from first announcement to a busy court on day one. Marketing sits at the centre of that: it fills courts, builds community and turns each club into a local fixture rather than just another venue.
The role
This is a hands-on execution role. Our Head of Brand & Content sets the plan, the content calendar and the creative ideas. You make it happen: building, writing, filming, editing, sending and posting, every week, across every club.
You'll work day to day with the Head of Brand & Content and report to the Head of Marketing. It's a small team, so you'll get real ownership of your channels quickly.
The role isn't solely desk-bound. You'll regularly work from our clubs, capturing content, supporting launches and local activity, and getting to know the club teams and members you're marketing to. Travel between sites is part of the job, so flexibility on location is essential.
What you'll do
Social and content
Own the Pure Padel UK TikTok: ideas, filming, editing, posting and growing the account
Deliver Instagram content against the content calendar
Film and edit short-form content on site at our clubs
Assist with content for new site launch campaigns, from first announcement through to opening day
Manage our LinkedIn page: write, publish and keep it active
Write and publish blog posts for our website
Source influencers and make first contact, then hand over to the Head of Brand & Content for briefing and delivery
Handle community management across channels
Email and targeted campaigns
Build and send a weekly newsletter for every club, designed to drive bookings, memberships and F&B revenue
Build and send estate-wide newsletters
Turn around targeted ad hoc campaigns at short notice, e.g. a Christmas party push, a membership drive at one club or filling quiet off-peak courts
Segment audiences using booking and membership data and executing on our CRM
Test subject lines, send times and offers, and report on what actually drove revenue
Brand and design
Make quick edits and resize assets in Adobe and Canva, following our brand guidelines
Brief and liaise with our graphic designers to get the right on-brand assets, on time
Act as a brand guardian: check every email, post and asset is on-brand before it goes out
AI and automation
Use AI tools day to day to work faster and smarter: drafting, research, editing, reporting and idea generation
Help build and run marketing automations, from email journeys to reporting and workflow shortcuts, as we roll automation out across the business
Know where AI adds value and where it doesn't. Everything we put out should feel human, on-brand and genuinely Pure Padel, never generic AI content
Budget, reporting and delivery
Manage campaign spend against budget, keeping spend tracking accurate and up to date
Produce the monthly marketing reporting pack, covering email revenue, engagement, social growth and spend
Track deliverables against the content and campaign calendars and flag anything at risk early
What we're looking for
1-3 years' experience in a hands-on marketing role (agency or in-house)
Proven experience working in a CRM and building email campaigns in Klaviyo, Mailchimp or similar, with results you can show
Can shoot and edit short-form video (CapCut or similar) and knows what works on TikTok
Comfortable in Adobe (Photoshop) and Canva for quick edits and resizing, and confident briefing designers
Forward-thinking and AI-savvy. You already use tools like ChatGPT, Claude or Canva AI in your work, you're curious about what's next, and you have the taste to know when something reads like AI slop
A confident writer who can adapt tone for a newsletter, a blog post, a LinkedIn post and a caption
Quick turnaround: you can go from brief to live campaign in a day or two
Disciplined with budgets: you keep spend on track and know where every pound has gone
Genuinely organised, juggling multiple clubs and deadlines without dropping anything
Numerate and comfortable with spreadsheets: you can say what a report means, not just what it says
A sharp eye for detail and brand consistency
Proactive by default. In a team this size, the people who do well spot the gap and fill it
Nice to have
Marketing experience in a multi-site business, or in hospitality, fitness, leisure or membership
Familiarity with booking platforms such as Playtomic
Experience with paid social campaigns
An interest in padel, racket sports or sport generally. You don't need to play, but it helps to care
How to apply
Send your CV with 2-3 examples of your work: an email campaign you built and some short-form content you've made. Shortlisted candidates will be given a short practical task.

About Pure Padel
I first played padel at 17, and got properly hooked during a year abroad in Milan where it became how I met people. I came home, couldn't find anywhere to play, and started Pure Padel from my university bedroom.
Padel is hospitality at its core. We're building clubs where people play, compete and belong — so we're looking for people who can build a community, not just run a court.
